I ALMOST FAINTED...

I BOUGHT MY GOWN....THAT WAS THE MOST EXPENSIVE THING I EVER BOUGHT IN MY LIFE.....IS IT NORMAL TO BE A LITTLE QUEEZY?? HAHAHAHAHA....I JUST CALLED DF AND TOLD HIM I AM NOT BUYING A SINGLE THING THIS SUMMER.....THAT FEELING WILL PROBABLY GO AWAY TOMORROW THOUGH, RIGHT??

if i had to pay it all at once maybe it would've hit me more...I was a bit like but at the same time i was just so happy with my decision and focused on that.

between dress, all the crap to wear under it, vail, it came to over $1700.00....*but* i am only working part time right now sooooooooooo thats huge $$ for me lol....i can't wait to graduate!!!! i know it could've been A LOT worse (the gown i originally wanted was $3750 and SO not worth it!) but still...i never bought anything that $$$ in one day....i think my credit card screamed when i put it through!

i know, i know....i totally shouldn't be complaining at all....it's nothing compared to what i've heard other brides paying for....it's just that since i dropped to part time for my last semester at school i can't seem to break my full time spending habits lol.....it totally *****!! but yeah---the original gown i wanted was gorgeous on line, but when i went to go see it at Bridal Reflections, i pretty much *hated* it...i didn't like the material, it was super itchy and very 'heavy'....and that was before i even knew the price----soooooo i went to davids bridal yesterday with my mom and my grandmothers and fell in love with an oleg cassini....and i am soooooooooo happy with it!!!! i paid it all in full so at least i don't have to worry about it--but i wasn't expecting to...maybe thats why im feeling this way

well you did good and after the initial shock you will just focus on the dress itself not the price and im sure you look great in it.

I had to put down 60% deposit. If i put it all down then i wouldve really had a heart attack

same thing with me I had to put down 60% Luckily my mom paid. or else i would have had a heat attach. it's alot of money for one dress. My dad on the other hand was the one that was like WHAT!!! How much was it!!! lol But he got over it once he saw the pics.

hahaha glad to hear that i'm not the only one...i went to sign my name and i was like ma----look at my hand and she was cracking up!!! then she goes 'wait until you go to closing on your house!!' then i really almost hit the floor....lol
i love love love my gown....i've heard so many things about david's bridal, but truth be told, i had a great experience there and i absolutely LOVE my gown....granted i'm not a 'tiny' bride, nor do i fit in a size 12 sample gown, this dress looked amazing on me and i never ever say that!!!!!! yay!!! i'm trying to post a pic of it....

That's a gorgeous dress, congrats!!! Yes, it's a big purchase but that feeling will go away!!

tell me about it....i have like 4 or 5 photographer appointments starting on saturday....e-party on sunday...i NEED a break!!! dress and photogs are only thing parents are making me pay for, so i can't complain too much. my sister and i are getting married 5 months apart so they are like !?!?!?!?!?!?!? lol
other then getting used to these big huge bills, everything else is going great and i can't wait for both of these weddings!!!!! a dream come true!!!!
