Since we are moving into Manhattan, we did not register for china (I mean, where the heck are we going to put it? Mom's basement?) but we did decide to register for new, simple white dishes for nice dinners as well as every day use.
We registered for bone china from Macy's, and they were totally having a ridiculous sale AND I had an extra 20 % off.....so I got 1 set of 4 plates (large and small) and bowls plus 4 extra cups and saucers for $100 (plus shipping of $16) instead of $263 just because it was such a deal.
What is wrong with me? hahaha, I need to stop shopping online.
I have china. Never use it. What a waste. I also have all white dishes. Best idea ever

hahah- I was thinking 'why am I buying these for myself off of my own registry?' But the devil on my shoulder was going, 'But it is such a deeeeeeeeeeeeeal!'
I agree- I think it is the best idea for now. If we want something nicer in 10 years, we can buy it. But I don't think we will, honestly!

Thats great! i mean it was such a deal I would have done it myself! I didn't reg for china even though my FMIL is bugging out that I should!
