I am a little dissappointed.

When I was hired for 'Miss Saigon' I was told that the show was running until August 19. Well, due to poor ticket sales it is closing on July 25. I don't understand why tickets are selling so poorly. It is truly an amazing show. I have never really liked 'MIss Saigon', but the cast and production are soooo good. I guess people don't want to see a show that deals in some ways with war. I am really glad to have the job, but I was looking forward to having it a little longer. Oh well, I guess that must mean there are better things in store for me.

I just saw something on the news about ticket sales being low for all Broadway shows.

Sorry that you're job is being cut short I'm sure there are bigger and better things in store

I saw Miss Saigon on Broadway and it was amazing! The planes and everything they used as props were huge, and flew in from the audience! Anyway, sorry the run was cut short, it is a great show.

hmm, so even if we all called right now to buy tickets, they woudln't extend the run?

maybe some connections you have made through this show will lead to other auditions. . .

I am really sorry to hear that. I saw Miss Saigon in NYC several years ago and I loved it (after not being initially interested- my friend had free tix).

Sorry to hear they are closing 'Miss Saigon' early, Heidi .. closing on my wedding date no less!!

I really would love to see you (I'm right in Westchester, about 15 mins away from the theater there ... !!)

I hate Miss Saigon, Happy to see it go..so I'm not surprised..but all shows are down.

Better things will defintiely be in your future

ETA: My dislike of MS is not a reflection on you, I don't even know what you do in the show and I saw it 10 years ago. Everyone's just saying how much they love it, I don't really like it, and there's better stuff out there for sure

I know how you feel. I was offered a job at an Off Broadway show and it fell through at the last minute.
