I am a married woman with a review
Let me just start out by saying that I might not have posted alot but I received some great ideas and I just want to thank everyone for that .
Now the review:
The weather, I dont know where to begin, all my fellow may 30th brides know, that day was beautiful. There was slight breeze, it was perfect.
Kleinfelds: A-
I had Vivian help me when i picking out my dress and she was very helpful and very honest. I had Janet as my seamstress and she was good but not great, I had a strapless gone and towards the end of the night it shifted and he ribbons for the bustle wasnt labled so my MOH had a hard time figuring out what went with what
Charisol Bridal: C
All the mothers and all the bridesmaids got there dresses there. THere customer services stinks and they were a little slow with the alterations but in the long run everyone looked beautiful and they did give us the best price.
Mens Wearhouse: D
If it wasnt for having groomsmen in NJ, Queens and Long Island I would have went somewhere else. Everyone that was tall didnt have a problem with there tux it was the shorter ones that had the problem. The pants weren't properly tailored to the length and my Hubby's shirt vest and jacket didnt fit properly either and they claimed they couldnt do anything else.
Toni for hair from Zoe's in Brooklyn: A+
She was early and everyone looked beatiuful. I loved the way my hair come out, it looked so much better than the trial and I highly recommend her.
Jackie from I Make UP YOu: A+
She did a great job on everyone. Everyone except my SIL got the airbrush done and it looked so natural. The only thing i reapplied was the lipstick. My MOH didnt care for the airbrushing but her makeup still looked great.
Ultimate Class Limo: A+
THey were early and very professional. The girls had Janice and they loved her. She calmed me down when she told me that the guys were running late (they were late getting ready) and just very calming, request her as your driver. They got us everywhere on time and the limos were very clean.
Freedom (band): A
THey are a Croatian band and they did a great job, everyone was dancing the whole night and everyone had a great time. The only mishap was that they hit a button to play the cd from our entrance song as me and my dad were dancing and that lasted about a second.
Patken:
We had them do our photojournalistic and our photographer was Frank. I will have a better Idea when we get the proofs back but I have a feeling they will be beautiful.
Cassarinos for Video and Photo:
We hired Joe and he is still shooting for Cassarino's and he is amazing. He is great to work with and his style is not traditional. I cant wait to see the pictures.
Jimmy was our videographer and I guess he captured everything we have to wait and see.
Watermill Caterers: A+
They were amazing. Everything we wanted was there. Everyone had a seat at cocktail hour and there was so much food. We didnt get to eat much b/c we were doing our rounds durning cocktail hour but everything looked so good. We had no complaints and everyone was raving about the food. Yvonne was my bridal attendent and helped out alot when my bustle ripped TWICE (my brother stepped on in while weredancing).
Noteworthy for invitations:A+
They are so nice there, they are in woodbury commons on jericho turnpike and they are so accomindating and really help you out. They have a hugh selection and great prices
Illuminations.com:A+
I purchased my candleabra's from them and they were perfect. THey were the centerpieces.
United Floral co.:A+
The flowers were gorgous! I had no idea what flowers i was getting till i saw them b/c each girl had a different bo-k in the same color family and the MOH had all flowers from all the girls. And mine was completely different. THey came out great
Spiegal: A+
I got my favors from them and they looked so cute, they doubled as my place cards, they were bud vases.
As soon as I get some pictures emailed to me I will post them.
