i am a stupid head

so, i have NEVER done this in my life but i missed THREE BC pills

I called the pharmacist and she was like stop taking them and then start again after a few days . . . but i explained to her that i REALLY didnt want to mess with my cycle because its coming right after my HM and its perfect that way
i dont want it the week before bc then i will be a mess, and i dont want it for the wedding or HM obviously

so she tells me if i want to, to double up for THREE days and then continue taking them normally and start another pack when i was originally supposed to

BUT the way this works out i am basically going to have my period for like two weeks straight

AND i have to use backup. . . she said i should be fine by the HM but i swear to god if i have baby in 9 months you will all know why!!

I do that sometimes Tilde. Usually I'll just take the 4 at once to catch up. Nothing ever happens to me. I get normal periods...

dont worry - i forget all the time
take your pills as soon as you get home today and take them as normal - im pretty sure nothing will happen but i would be a little extra careful for the next week until everything gets back on track

I've missed two in a row...last month actually and nothing happened. I just took them all on the third day when I realized I missed them. I think you should just take them all today and it should be fine.

i did that recently and i actually have done it a few time ... i just doubles up untill i caought up and told him he needs ot be careful!!!

Tilde!!! don't take all three at the same time!!! Everytime I eff it up and I take two pills at once, i'm throwing my brains up. STAGGER IT!

I would do what the dr says....i have missed 2 and that is fine...but 3 is when they tell you to start fresh on sunday...or whatever day you start. I don' tthink it's something you want to mess with...but i wouldn't want my period on my HM either...so double up like the dr said and you should be fine...or do it so you skip your period on your honeymoon...i do that a lot just continually take the pill so i don't get it....

ahhh i've done that before- i just popped the pills and kept going- everything was fine but i was a nervous wreck- so i would definately get back-up if i were you!

Just be warned that sometimes when u double up it can make u nauseous.

I do this all the time....and I'm fine.

I never take more then two at a time tho cuz it makes me feel crazy but if I miss say, Wed, Thurs, Fri and I notice on Friday I will normally take Wed and Thrus pills in one day then on saturday I'll take Friday and Saturday's pills.

Also just so you know if you don't want to have your period during your honeymoon at all, you can just skip the sugar pills and go straight to a new pack of BC. You will then skip your period for one month!

agreed. it might be better to take them every 8 hours to catch up. or if you're taking 2, take them before bed. taking 2 at once makes me wanna puke, and that would defeat the purpose...

when i do this, which is often, i definitely take all the missed ones to catch up, but i stagger them 5-6 hours apart....or over 2-3 days. as long as i'm caught up by the end of the pack (before the fake ones), i feel like i'm all clear. (i'm no gync, though. i could be way off.)

i figure too much hormone crap in one sitting CAN'T be good!
