...to my dog. I swear to god this dog is going to drive me up a wall!!! After the glorious chunk he took out of my nose a month ago, we have been meeting with a behavioral trainer. Well...one of the things she wants me to stop is allowing him up on the furniture and sleeping in my bed (he is so tiny and so cute...but um...viscious hehe). So i bought a round pen for him (plenty of room in it) and i pimped it out with a fuzzy bed, special treats for when he's in there, toys....even a water container thingy....and he is jumping up and down like a complete lunatic crying his eyes out!!!! I can't stannnnnnnnnnddddddddd ittttt!! Now i know how real mommies feel when they hear their baby crying themselves to sleep when they are in their crib....I HATE THIS!!!!! WHY CAN'T HE JUST BE A GOOD BOY ALL THE TIME???

It sounds strange, but try wearing an old t-shirt so it smells like you then putting it in his crate. We did this when our dog was a puppy and it worked.
They say you cant teach an old dog new tricks, but it just may work.
Poor pup

That was going to be my suggestion too. It usually works pretty well. You could also give him one of the pillows from your bed, they tend to hold your scent longer and it's something for him to lay on and remind him of the bed. However, it may confuse him if he associates it with the bed so maybe it's not the best idea.
I can't imagine not letting my pets on the bed with me. I can't go to bed unless Petey comes along!

I'm sorry, some dogs are easier to train then others. I think you are doing a good thing by getting him a trainer. A lot of people give up on dogs sometimes so you are being a great dog mommy!

This does make a difference - i noticed this when we first got our puppy way back when...he used to FREAK OUT when i was in the shower...even though i'd bring him in his crate in there with me. Once i gave him my shirt i was wearing - no more freak out fest!

Btw, I just looked at your album and he's adorable. I LOVE boston terriers, they are one of the cutest breeds!!!! Good luck with him!

awww thanks girls!! i didn't get a chance to w/b earlier because he literally kept me up all night....eventually i did take him out, but i waited for him to calm down. I am def. gonna try to old t shirt thing. I heard about that before and i think my sister did that for her dog who had seperation issues when she was a puppy. Yeah he's a cutey i love him...but i hate hearing him crrrryyyyy!!
