FH and I were just on the phone...and he was being REALLY cranky. He didn't get to eat anything today so I think that was why he was being like that. Anyway, I asked him if he could get addresses for me so I could send the STDs and he FLIPPED, telling me I should stop nagging him and blah blah blah...this is so unlike FH, he never acts like this...so I say 'I love you, but I think you're really cranky because you haven't eaten. I don't want to get into a fight, so can you call me back once you've eaten and you're feeling better?'
Then he HUNG UP ON ME!!! In the 13 months we've been together he's never ONCE hung up on me...this is where my weirdo self comes in because instead of being pissed (and calling him back and starting that fight I was talking about avoiding) I'm over here hysterically laughing
Hopefully he'll come crawling back with his tail between his legs once he's got some food in him

I get that way when I'm hungry too. It used to bother FH but now he just knows not to argue and to get me some food asap!

I need to adopt ur way of handling cranky FH. props to u on this one! me and FH have such explosive personalities that this thing would have turned into this huge drama with tears and yelling ur way is soooo much better

Now that its 2 1/2 hours after and he hasn't called back yet I'm tempted to call and just hang up...but I'm still at a point where its amusing so I'm gonna hold off...
...another 2 1/2 hours of this though and I might just use all you saying that as justification and DO IT!!

Bahahahahahaha....moral of the story is that he did not, in fact hang up on me...we got disconnected, and he thought that I hung up on HIM and he didn't call back because he didn't want to fight, just as I requested
I'm glad I didn't venture into angry or I would have looked like a dope!

Me too! If I start getting ticked off about something Dan will ask me 'Are you hungry' which will make me angrier (whether I am hungry or not) and I say 'is it so hard for you to imagine that I might be displeased AND well fed?'
