I am almost there....

I am almost there....

This weekend we....
signed the lease on our new apartment;
ordered our invitations;
visited the hotel and decided where to block OOT guest rooms and our wedding night room;
booked our florist;
booked our DJ.
I am soooo glad we got all of this accomplished in one weekend, well a long weekend-Fri-Mon.

I feel so much better!

Congrats you did get a lot done. You are getting married 2 weeks before me at the WM. When do you plan on sending out your invites? Mom and I don't agree on this. I want to send them out before Christmas, she wants me to send them out right after.

where'd you book your OOT rooms?

We are going to use the Wingate Inn. It looks nice, the people were friendly and helpful and we like that it has a bar-small but good enough. Our wedding is over at 6 so if people want to hang out that evening, they have a place. It is also only 3 miles from WM and 9 miles from our church.

I am on your side. I want to send out the invites early December if possible. As soon as I get them we will have a calligraphy party and get them done. I want to get them out before the Christmas rush. We are putting a Jan. 22 reply date.
