So I got my save the dates today (yippee and I will post pictures tonight)
But.... I ordered 200 because we have 200 guests. I didn't think about the fact that most of these are going to couples so in all actuallity, I only needed about 140 STDs.
Even worse, I ordered Kate Spade STDs and they were really expensive and now I have too many...
Ooo that really *****, sorry. Yeah for STD's you get even less than how many invitations you order, not by guest number...Cant forget that its also just 1 per household so if theres 3 or 4 in one house you just send 1 to that house. Plus you dont have to send an STD to everyone you are inviting to the wedding

well, look at it this way, if for some reason some get lost in the mail or sent back to you, you have extras. And you can use some for your album or for your scrapbook. I know it stinks you wasted the money, but its not sooo bad.

It s*ucks that you have too many but they look really nice so congrats on that... And on a positive note you know how many invitations you will need and those will probably be more than the std's!

Sounds like STD's for everyone at you place of employment.... not saying you will give them invites, but atleast theyll have a token of your special day
