I am back for a bit..... (Update on Pg 2)
I just wanted to let the concerned people know what happened...

My Aunt, who is my mother's godmother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer the day after my last post. It is stage IV and very aggressive. She is terminal & has only days left, so I took some time off of work to go & visit her (she lives in southern Jersey)
When we returned last Wednesday, we got a phone call from my MIL that my FIL had passed out & was in the hospital. It turned out that he had a minor heart attack, and needed emergency open heart surgery. The doctors originally intended to perform a triple bypass, but once they opened him up, they determined he needed a quintuple bypass. Luckily he was at St. Francis, so there was one surgeon on call that could perform this surgery.
He was sent home from St. Francis exactly one week after the surgery, but then was rushed back to the hospital b/c he had a coughing fit & stopped breathing from it. It turned out he also had a touch of bronchitis, and his air way got blocked. They were going to perform an emergency tracheotomy, but they alleviated the problem without invasive surgery.
He is home now & recovering, but his recovery is somewhat complicated by the bout with bronchitis, as he has to be very careful when he coughs so he does not aggravate the stitched area of his chest.
So my job is fine, everything there was straightened out and more people were hired so my work load dramatically changed, as did my boss's attitude. I think he was stressing about the work-load as well.
I will be on when I can, but DH & I have been spending a ton of time at his parent's house to help out his mom & to visit with his dad.
Thanks all for your concern & your FM's....I am really touched.
