So I got engaged in July and I set my date for Nov 2006 what am I thinking 4 months to pull it together! I have most of the important stuff done but it is the little stuff that I am not sure what needs to be done. like programs, menus, bathroom baskets..... OK ladies I need you to throw back at me some little things that I am going to need to do that I probably would realize untill it is so close to the wedding. again what was I thinking!

Congrats Date Twin!!! And trust me, it can be done! As long as you have the big things out of the way, the rest will fall into place! First things first, after you book the ceremony and reception hall, you have to go dress shopping! Good Luck and if you need ANY help, please fell free to FM me!

For invitations, menus, programs and place cards (among other things), I'd recommend Invitations and Beyond in Oceanside. They are a famiy-owned business, do beautiful work and are really fast. Congratulations and good luck with all the planning

It doesn't matter how much time you have you are always going to feel like you don't have enough time. I think you can do it. Try utilizing the wedding planning tools on this websites.
Here are the things I overlooked:
Getting marriage license BP gifts Toasting Glasses and cutter Registering List of songs for ceremony and reception favors list for photographer hair and make up booking HM odering TYC
Have you gotten a dress yet?

It can definitely be done!!! My sister planned her entire wedding in 3 months- she actually saved some money that way since vendors were much more willing to negotiate. It can definitely be done...but you will need help!! I got her favors for her on ebay (except for her CD- those I printed labels myself and burned them for her).

It can be done. I'm getting married the week after you and I still have all of those things on my to do list as well!
One thing to keep in mind is that bathroom baskets and programs aren't necessities, they are nice but, can be easily cut off the list.
Have you ordered invitations yet or looked into hair and make up?

It will ge tdone! I know someone who planned a wedding in 6 DAYS! She found a RH, invites, EVERYTHING in 6 DAYS! The wedding is next month...
It's ALOT but it CAN work!
I dont know what kind of wedding you want but typically- you need: RH florist photography/videography dj/band invites Gown/Tux Rings BM dresses [?] favors [?]
What am I missing girls??

My dress is bought and I already had my first fitting! My BM bought there dresses. Big things I need to do is select flowers FH needs to get tux and I need to rent Limo.

you guys rock I got done Church - go for pre cana Sept 30 (ugh) RH Dress- went for my first fitting yay! 3 BMs still need to go order their dress Invitations I should receive in 1 week so they are printed I sent out save the dates we registered Booked photographer Booked DJ yesterday I am donating to the ASPCA or make a wish for favors
so as far as I know I think this is my list of needs:
