I don't know who his vet is and i don't want to call my BIL and upset him if it is nothing. Online it says that it can mean a fever or nothing at all. I wonder if he is depressed and misses his mommy and daddy???

I have heard that changes in the nose mean nothing....my dog has a dry nose sometimes...

ETS: a dogs normal temp is about 102...so they may feel hot...but its normal

my dog's nose would be dry whenever she woke up from a nap...we didn't think anything of it.

We put Musher's Secret on our dog's nose. I think you can buy it on the internet, not sure if that would help you today but it seems to help. I don't know if the pet stores would have something similar to it. It is like a vaseline that moistens it.
