contacted me yet. I know the e-pics are low key, but is there something I should know before I take them?

Yes, be sure that you and FH wear something nice. We went last week to take our pics and thought they were only going to take from our waist up so we wore nice shirts, but with jeans and sneakers!! They photographer advised us to make another appt. and come back nicely dressed because he takes full body pictures and many of them too!!

Here's some info I received from my photographer for our EPics:

Some thoughts on clothes:

Avoid large bold patterns and bright colors that may tend to
draw attention away from the face. You want your faces to be
the focal point, so long sleeved solids or very subtle prints
are usually most flattering.

Consider the background you want for your portrait. Medium to
dark clothes are best for a dark background. Medium to light
clothes are ideal for a light background. If we are shooting
outside, we have more flexibility - but obviously if we are
shooting in the park, you probably don't want to be wearing
too much green, btw, the park should be quite nice in late
April (have you been to the botanical gardens on 105th? - we
had our wedding shots done there).

Shoes and stockings/socks are most often overlooked. They
should compliment, not contrast. Remember to fully coordinate
your attire from head to toe.

Busy patterns and bold colors tend to make a person look
larger than they are. Dark clothing tends to minimize body
size. Save patterns for small accent items like scarves and
neckties.

Necklines are important. A 'V' or scoop neck is best if your
neck is short and you face is full. A turtleneck or high- necked garment is more flattering if your neck is longer and
your face is slender.

You may want to apply your makeup slightly heavier than
normal and some color to the cheeks and lips. This will
enhance a your appearance and help minimize any imperfections.
