I don't have a date set yet. We got engaged Dec 20, 2007. It seems as if my FH doesn't want to set to date because we are still worried about finances. I want to set a date for late 2009. I think that will be enough time to get everything together. I just want to set the date already! Not because I'm in a rush, it's just because I want to have a date in my head. Anyone understand this? Help.

Oh my god this is my exact dilema. we were engaged Dec 22, 2007 We have seen all the halls but FH does not want to book because he dosnt know how we are going to pay for it....he is driving me NUTS
I feel your pain.
I just told him that I dont care anymoer. he asked me to marry him not vice versa so when he wants to book to just do it....y should i drive myself crazy

I know, it's like we know we are going to have a budget of 25k. We can't go higher and we aren't getting any help from anyone else. I am so agitated because of this. I have been in such a bad mood more so this week because I am so sick of it. I think a year and a half is more than ample time to save?????? Maybe you have a point in what you said about him asking you to marry him. Maybe I should just shut my mouth? I feel so frustrated!!!!
