I AM FIT TO BE TIED!! MAJOR DOG GROOMING VENT!!

ok, before I get to the real doozy of tonite let me give you some background info:

ok, so my mom uses them and raves of how wonderful they are and I should try them. I have not had a problem w/ my groomer and didnt have a good feeling and didnt want to switch but figured I would try. So my mom gives me their number and the first time I call I ask for who my mom tells me this SUE, so I said is sue there and the lady ann goes no
but this is ann can I help you?? And I said well, there is a sue there though right? and she got all nasty w/ me like, well can I help you?? I was thinking to myself, why cant she just answer my question! sO I hung up and told my mother I dont like her she seems rude

weeks go by, I never call back and my mom has me make an appointment, I do not know the name of WHO cut angel, it was not Sue or Anne but it was the worst haircut she ever had ! IN fact, the lady must have scared the SH*T out of her b/c they said she did SH*T *and they had to muzzle her! I know for a fact that she is never muzzled at my place b/c I got there early one day to pick her up and she was leased to a table while they were trimming her face w/ scissors and there was NO Muzzle
then they give her to me and I notice there is a hair covering her eye, I specifically told them I wanted her face VERY short, especially around the eyes so me and my mom go out to her driveway to tell the girl and she was already gone! so I take Angel home after she gets a 'haircut' and had to cut the hair away from her eye w/ hair cutting scissors
and I notice her right ear, the way they shaved/tipped them, it has all this excess hair! even craig said it was the worst haircut she ever had! her left ear was all neat and the right had all this extra hair like a third ear sticking out so my mom calls sue and sue says she will 'fix' her for free but cant for two more weeks, FINE, so I wait
she fixes her and does a nice job and apologizes for the bad cut and tells me if I use them again it will only be here but she needs two weeks in advance notice so OVER A MONTH ago I make an appointment for 7pm tonite

well at 657pm my phone rings and it is ANNE, she goes, Im sorry but SUE is exhausted we have to reschedule, so I give her the benefit of the doubt thinking they will come tomorrow nite or friday and she goes on to say you know its not good for her to work w/ scissors when tired but we dont have an opening till JUNE 10th!! HELLO, You call me two min before your supposed to be here and dont want to come till 6/10!! SO I said to her nicely, well, I waited a month for this appointment and I am sorry but I have to go somewhere else because she really needs a haircut, thank you and I hang up
after I hang up and I know I heard the click and saw the timer on the phone so I dont think she could have heard me, I mumble to myself, 'son of a *****!' THEN I hit the button to call my mom to complain and ANNE is still there, I hear her go to someone
'OH, IS SHE RUDE!' and then a click

who knew she was still on the line
I said thank you and hung up
and I wanted to just hang up w/out saying anything
I am rude??? She was rude! I will never call them again!! how rude to cancel Literally last minute and then tell me you cant come till June 10th

You had the decency to be nice and say thank you good bye. (at least while you thought she was on the phone).

I have very little patience for stupidity like this. I think you did admirably!! What a horrible way to do business.

OMG! Thats horrible! Well I guess its back to the original groomer. I am having trouble myself finding a groomer that hand strips. Murphy has a wirey coat and that is what 'should' be done even though his show days are over because I did a little 'snip snip'.

i had a HUGE problem with a mobile groomer once. My dog, Pepper, who has since passed away, was 16 years old. The groomer comes in the van and this time it is not the usual lady (the owner) but a 19 year old guy. After she is done getting clipped, Pepper comes back in the house with her right back leg literally dragging across the floor!! I asked him what he did to her and he said 'Nothing at all'. BS. My mom and I called the owner and demanded to know what happened, she said she'd find out. We took Pepper to the vet and the vet said that her entire bone was dislocated out of the socket and it would be $500 to fix. So we called the owner of the company who finally confessed that the teenage guy had pulled Pepper when she was struggling during the haircut and pulled her leg out of the socket!! And was never going to tell us. So she fired him and gave us the $500 to pay for the vet. To make a long story short, my poor dog was NEVER the same after that....and she died soon after.

Tammy!! When did you switch?? I thought you were happy with my recommendation..

I am sticking w/ Denise :)

Denise is a sweetheart she boards my forner dogs all the time, which was pretty frequently since the wedding because we lived out of state and my parents couldn't bring them if they visited..
My parents closed on there house on the 12th and during that time Denise kept my little guys for my parents so they didn't have to stay in the hotel!

I'm so glad your happy with her!

That sucks about the Mobile groomer!
