I am freaking out!

I am freaking out!

So, I obviously let the whole 'gym' thing slip away from me since February. 'Yeah I have plenty of time' you know, that ol speech.

I had my first dress fitting on September 4th. I wound up coming home that evening and crying my eyes out. I feel like a linebacker trying to look like a pretty balerina. I know I have broad shoulders and a larger upper body, but it just totally depressed the F%#& out of me. Now I am trying hard core to lose some volume on the top of my body.

If I am not happy with my results (in which I still have 2 1/2 months) then I need another option. Can someone help me find something that I can use to cover my arms that will look okay with my dress. (Which is in my album).

I feel like If I used a shawl, it will look grandmaish..and if I used a nice bridal jacket it may look like too much going on. Ugh..I need lots of help.

you still have plenty of time to do this. Just remember right now how you feel and let that be your motivation to get into it hardcore

what about one of those fur wraps, many winter brides use them.

you definitly have a some time!!! not too much but enough to start working/toning your arms...my friend was ahving an issue with that and she put cap sleeves on it and it actully made the whole look of the dress and everything so much more!!!!

You have plenty of time to lose weight/tone up. Have you contacted a personal trainer or nutritionist? If its in your budget that may be a good way to go about it. As far as something to wear over your dress, I personally think the fur shrugs/ wraps are really cute.

Okay 1) from your album pics you are SOOOOOOO clearly not a linebacker. .I suspect part of it is just you being hard on yourself so do what you can in the next few months (you can tone a lot if you hit the gym hard) but also get someone else's opinion b/c we are not always so kind to ourselves and your FH is going to think you look amazing

I can totally relate, I fell off the wagon, stopped working out, but all you can do is get back on the wagon (I'm trying). Since my dress is strapless, I am thinking of having my seamstress add some sort of strap or cap sleeve or something. Its hard because when you don't have those dainty arms there isn't much of an option on how to cover them up.

I really appreciate all the kind messages. Maybe I should've tried the dress on with my veil and everything else? I only had my shoes and my corset. I didn't really need a corset though, b/c the dress wasn't even touching my body at the fitting. Because of the Empire waist line, it starts to go out right under my bust. I have a small waist so I think that having it come out like that makes me look bigger also. I guess thta is something I have to take up with the seamstress.

I am just worried that I am going to look horrid. I am really goign to try and work it out at the gym until December. I don't want to do a fur wrap b/c I know I will be hot and I don't want to wear it all evening. I want to have something that I can possibly wear all evening and not be terribly hot in. I was thinking maybe a lace shawl?

It only takes two weeks to see a difference in your arms! Pump up the cardio and work out with weights!! You'll look great!! Don't let that get in the way of your special day!!

cardio! cardio! cardio! and weight training! drink LOTS of water and really watch your diet until the wedding! you have just enough time to make a little difference!

Do you like boleros or those cute little fur wrap things a lot of winter brides wear?
