My sister had her gall bladder removed laparoscopically and was up and about the next day. I would not say not to worry because it is surgery but the advancements for this type of surgery are amazing. With smaller incisions, there is less room for infection. Healing is faster and you will more than likely be a healthier person. Best of luck!
