I have been reading up on BHB board and posted regarding the new edition to Fox Hollow. Does anyone have any input on this? I just don't want it to effect my wedding, day of.

I am not sure the name.. garden west? It is the one all the way to the left in the middle with the outside cocktail hour and new fountains for the ceremony.

I believe that the garden terrace room. That one shouldn't be eFfected by the new space since we only share the bathrooms with them. But it does allow for another wedding to go on so parking and bathroom lines might be more. At least that my concern. By the way have u chosen any vendors yet? I am still deciding.

from what I heard they stopped building for the time being I would call Fox Hollow if you have concerns.

I went there and they just give a run around answer. I don't see how they could stop building seeing as people have booked it already.

im getting married at the Fox Hollow (Winter Garden Pavillion) i love the place, have heard great reviews on food and mostly positive reviews on eveything else but if I could get my money back and book somewhere else i probably would. I find their customer service to be more than just lacking, i find it non-existing. i never get my calls returned, im constantly being passed off to other people and they give me conflicting answers and are short tempered and nasty, and now their trying to change our start time even though we have a contract. i find them to be really rude and unpleasant to put it nicely. im really regretting booking my wedding with them its taking all teh fun out of wedding planning but at this point too much money has been spent and im screwed and they know it so they'll just keep taking advantage, being rude and cashing my checks.

OH HELL NAWWWWWWWW, excuse my French. Now I am getting concerned. I am so upset to hear about the customer service. We are paying too much money, to not get our question answered.

I am booked in the new room. It is not going to affect anything if you are booked in the downstairs rooms. As I have said before, it will have it's own entrance, valet, bathrooms, etc. It is going to be self contained as if it was it's own place. I am surprised to hear that you are not getting good customer service. Every time I call or go there they have been great with me & FH. But I do think they should have been better organized with the plans for this new room. They have been keeping it low key and that is causing everyone to panic and question what they are doing.

Yes my customer services has been lacking too. Every time I calI feel very un-welcomed and rushed. I do however love the resturant staff. They have always been very kind and welcoming.
I wish I could say the same for my BM. I am just praying everything turns out ok.

i would assume that it will be ready by then, but just hope for the best, as the day gets closer, call your BM and see what they can tell you about the progress

Im worried about the new room as well. My cocktail hour is in the winter garden and the reception in briar fox room.

They have been doing construction there for awhile. It's supposed to be done by the Spring (I believe). I wouldn't stress. It's going to follow the 'Fox Hollow' style. From what I hear the designer is the same person who designed the rest of the building. Basically.. I wouldn't worry. From what I heard, it sounds like it's going to be great.

I am surprised by the customer service comments. I have been pleased with my BM and our contact. When I called on Sunday to discuss what I heard on here, he was nothing but helpful..but that still doesn't put me at ease.
For me I want to feel 100%. I have only given the first initial deposit and if it means finding a new place and feeling better about things, I might have to. My wedding will cost a whole lot more than that deposit in the long run.
