I am going out on a date tonight- UPDATE

with a VERY handsome man. I may even take him home!

FH and I are going to one of my favorite restaurants because it's Brooklyn restaurant week and they have $19.95 prix fixe menus... steak frites and profiteroles here I come! YUM

when FH got home, he found out his mom cooked for us!!! we had to postpone until tonight...BUT since he's in his office in the city, he is going to meet we at work so we can walk across the Brooklyn Bridge to the restaurant!

that is so awesome, i actually wanted to stop by for the brooklyn restaurant week. we also try and go out on date nights every so often, i think its such a great thing for any relationship, have a great time, have a drink fo rme.

I love restaurant week. there are some restaurants that the prix fixe meal is not really worth it because there is not that much of a price difference, but then there are some where it cuts the price in half....that's where I go.

I LOVE date night-especially after tax season...last week I saw FH one night! (a drought for us) and this weekend was very busy. It's going to be nice to unwind.

I agree. I went to Dos Caminos in soho for restaurant week last year and the food was eh, and I could have gotten a quesadilla for much cheaper! Then I went to Django during the summer for lunch and it was ammaaazing. Which restaurant are you going to in Brooklyn? I really want to try Applewood...

We are going to Jolie restaurant on Atlantic Ave. I have been there before, but I have been dying to go with FH. I can't WAIT to eat my profiteroles!

I NEVER do a mexican restaurant prix fixe...I don't know why- it just never seems like it will add up to much- especially when you can get good mexican cheap. I usually try to stick to French (which you can pretty much always count on to be expensive.)

update is we didn't go last night b/c FMIL had dinner ready when FH got home..but we are going tonight.

your wedding is the night before mine! we are going out to celebrate on Saturday...

since we will be in LI, maybe we'll just eat at Westbury Manor
