That place is amazing. The food and the ambiance is excellent. We went to a wedding there in the fall. My FH and thought the place was beautiful. When FH and I were searching for RH's we were going to visit that place; however, we ended up finding the Inn; We knew that was going to be our RH.

Hi!!!
We just got home! I must say that the wedding at Marina Del Rey was fantastic. The ambiance is gorgeous! We even took some pics near the water and gazebo! The inside is also beautiful and verrry clean.

I am trying to think of all things I can mention. First of all the food-- OMG. I have never been so full in my life. Every single thing we ate tasted fantastic. They had the potato bar which was a HUGE hit, and tons of stations during the cocktail hour. I almost felt like the Cocktail Hr had so much heavy food I couldnt imagine eating MORE food. When we got to the tables the salad and bread were out--both delish. We then had the pasta and it was a choice of bow tie or penne a la vodka. We had a choice of Chateau Briand, some type of chicken and a fish I think. I had the Chateau Briand. Seriously, I have never seen such big portions that also tasted amazing. It also had potatoe on the side and a sweet potatoe with asparagus and carrots. I am very picky about 'wedding meat' and I couldnt stop eating this!!! They had the viennese hour and cake which was just fantastic. I was in dessert heaven. By this point I almost felt like all the food was overkill b/c I could have eaten this much food in a week, LOL The downside of so much delish food is that I couldn't move to dance at some points.

Something I noticed was that the servers were fantastic. Every single worker/server I encountered went out of there was to ask us if we needed anything and how the food was. I think we were asked that 2-3 times during dinner and during the cocktail hour my soon to be BIL even chatted with a server about his experience up until that point. I was really impressed and was trying to view the wedding as tho I was judging the experience so I could report back. LOL

The bathrooms were super clean, and the attendant was so friendly. My Fiance also commented how his soda tasted so good and not watered down like most places make it. The room was large but not crowded or too tight (they had 240 people, the setup was decent altho we were to the side so we did get up for alot of what was going on, on the dance floor.

I honestly don't have a negative thing to say about the venue at all. The music was not my style b/c most of it was not in English -- it was a Greek wedding, so maybe that is the only thing I didn't love as much but it in no way reflected on the venue.

If you have any specific questions just let me know but I think you will be verrrry pleased and super full! LOL

Thank you SO much for your detailed review!! I am so happy to hear everything was so good. I feel confident that they will do a nice job bc any time we go there everything looks perfect and our food tasting was amazing! But it's nice to hear someone elses perspective. We are not having the venetian hour bc i agree that it gets to a point where it becomes just too much!!

Thank you again and good luck with your planning!!!
