I am going to kill FH

I can not stand my FH right now. It kills me that he won't stand by me when something happens with his family. He always makes me look like the bad guy and its so unfair. I'm so frustrated I could scream right now!!!!!!!!

Come to the GTG this week, have fun with all of us and make him stay home all alone to stay with his thoughts!

We had issues with his mom and who she wanted to invite, we limited her to 10 guests, ended up inviting 12. Now she is being manipulative and saying she wants to invite more people, blah blah, we already decided a few months ago that she couldn't. Now FH brings it all up again, making me the bad guy. The biggest thing is that he turns on me and doesn't support our decision. Its not we decided, its john says yes but jannette says no.

I will be at the get together this week, it will be my first one and I am really excited!

FH and I had these issues before as well. I finally came out and told him that I wouldn't accept it from him anymore. He needs to support me, as his future wife, even if he didn't agree, when it came to his family b/c i wasn't going to battle 2 against 1. He needs to shift his priorities and determine what is more to him. You and your relationship or making sure his Mom is always happy! You should be 1st priority on that list to make happy!

I know it is frustrating. I have been through the same thing...my fi and I decided that there would be no children at the wedding...his mom wanted children...all the sudden it was my idea to have no children. The bad news is that he will probably never change...but the good news is that what you are describing in not that uncommon...men have a hard time standing up to their moms. my FI included...Stand your ground on things that are important to you.
