Today was the first time I tried everything for the wedding day on at once. I looked in the mirror and started crying b/c I looked so ugly. Girls on here and in magazines all look so good. I feel that I wont look like them. I don't want a wedding now so peopel have to see me. I just want to crawl under a rock and die!!!

oh come on you know you dont really feel that way...you are just freakening out...take a deep breath and i am sure when your head finally clears you will realize that its not always whats beautiful on the outside that counts...we cants all be super models but someone with a good soul is just as beautiful. your FH loves you and will def. think you are the most beautiful bride ever even if you show up in a potato sack...so dont panic everything will be beautiful on your special day....i can guarantee it.

STOP that nonsense!! The reasons those brides in magazines look 'like they're out of a magazine' is b/c they have their makeup and hair professionally done! And you will too! And I agree with one of the other comments I read...your beauty and happiness will shine through from the inside, you'll be glowing And your pics will be gorgeous!

dont worry ... my sister hated her dress up until the wedding day and then she loved it ... your probably just nervous and im sure your over reacting !!!! you will be fine

my biggest fear is looking less then beautiful in my wedding pictures. I know how you feel. I am so sorry!

Your picture on here is gorgeous so there's no way you can make an ugly bride. I understand the stress though. I panic all the time, but remember all those models are airbrushed. And thanks to digital photography, if we do have a hair out of place, we can be Photoshopped too! You really have nothing to worry about though.

I worry about that too sometimes, but really, it's just how your stress is manifesting itself. You have alot going on, and these feelings just come up out of nowhere. I know they did for me.
I'm a real 'jeans and a t-shirt' kind of girl... I almost never wear makeup and the only jewelry i wear is my e-ring. But ever since this wedding planning started, all of a sudden i'm obsessed with how i'm going to look on my wedding day. Like really freaking out over my various 'flaws.' I really think it's just how I'm handling the general stress. Instead of obsessing over programs & centerpieces, I'm obsessing over this!
Maybe it's just a 'safer,' more familiar kind of stress. Many of us have never planned a wedding before, so the whole situation is new and a little intimidating. But obsessing over blotchy skin or flabby arms? Now THAT I know how to do!
Hang in there, and just tell yourself that your feelings arent' really 'real.' It's your brain playing tricks on you
