for my sister's wedding. It's two months before my own wedding, but that's not the issue. I am in the process of losing weight and will hopefully have lost 30 pounds by the time her wedding rolls around. What am I going to do about ordering my dress for her wedding, and my own gown, for that fact? I mean, can they take it in that much? I don't really lose in the chest, but I definitely lose a lot in the hips. Is this going to totally screw things up?

If you don't lose weigt in the chest, then you should be ok-- although 30 pounds will probably affect your chest on some level..
I always need to order dresses larger- cause my boobs are bigger then the rest of me (34D)-- the dress needs to fit there, and can be taken in everywhere else. The seamstress will also be able to help you make your decision.

Ok, good. I am just panicking, I think. I already tried on my gown for my wedding and it's huge already, which is a good thing, but I'm afraid because the beadwork is so intricate that it will not be able to be taken in. As for my sister's wedding, I guess as long as my boobs stay huge, I'll be fine I'm telling you, when I was a size 8 in 10th grade, my boobs were JUST as huge as they are now. I maybe might lose an inch or two, but really I store my fat, and a lot of it, in my arse and thighs
