i am gonna be so loST!

So Fh just booked a mini vacation to go viist his mom down in georgia in MAY! AHHH we haven't been away from eachother in more than a day lol what am i gonna do with myself! lol on the other hand it actually MIGHT BE SO NICE...maybe ill do my 80's prom trip then lol HA we'll see

how do u guys deal w/ when ur FH goes away...

Awww Colleen you'll be OK!!!!

I love FH, but I l ve my alone time too!!!! I do girly things, go for drinks, clean, sleep, etc. without worrying about spending time with him, etc. It's MY time!!!

aww, i get the same way! i miss my FH when he's away, but i agree.... its good to do some girly things or just have some alone time! if you get lonely, just keep your computer on... we'll keep you company!

Some times my fh goes away on bus. and it stinks. I hate when he is gone for long periods of time.

We text and talk on the phone. I try to make it special when he comes home!!!!

just make plans.....do a day with your mom, a night with your MOH, go to happy hr with work friends......make it an oppurtunity to do all the girly stuff you used to do before FH.

awww!!! i know you'll miss him!! when I have to be away from FH i'm sad, but I try to keep busy, spending my time with friends, doing something fun, or catching up on things that i just don't get around to if FH is here. the time will fly!!

Ditto! I miss him so much but space is good every once in a while. Makes me miss him and then we are excited to see eachother.

Keep busy! It will be ok. FH went to Florida this past summer with his fam and usually I go, but I couldn't this year because of summer classes. We hadn't been away from each other since I went away to college freshman year. (I quickly came back home.) When he went away, I spent a lot of time with my girlfriends. Unfortunately, summer classes ended shortly after his fam left so it's not like I was concentrating on that to keep busy. It was ok though and when he came back, we were so happy to see each other!

i am the worst...FH doesnt go anyway, i will have a nervous breakdown if he does, and he knows it. I dont know how to get over it, but....he doesnt seem to mind anyway :)

I just relax! The first time is hard to be away from one another. But, the second time it gets better. I just hang out with friends and relax.

He's been away twice since I met him-the first time we were only talking and in the early stages... so I did my own thing if you catch my drift.

But he did go away a few months ago and I really missed him. He called me every day. It was only a weekend thing, but I did miss him.

I did a girls night out on the sat. that he was gone and then he was home the next day. It wasnt too bad!

Catch up on some dramatic lifetime movies! I love em!

thanks girls...im actually really excited now lol he told me he's gonna pay for my trip to go see my friend in CA after he gets back and i told him i dont want to go w/ out him cause thats like a place we've always wanted to go...and he's like no u are going i dont care what you say lol so im going to CALI

Aww that stinks. I'm away right now and I'm missing fh.... I called him yesterday and he spent the whole day playing video games...seems like he's coping well...
