Valley Stream Cat Rescue spays/neuters and vaccinates all of their animals as well.

Not knocking NSAL or at least not trying to, but out of the past 9 friends to get their cats from them, only 3 have survived. the local north shore animal league is underfunded and unfortunately a lot of their animals are sick.
i have experienced this first hand, as well as many of my friends.

either way, i commend you for adopting rather than purchasing a cat.

Yay! I'm gonna have a little Cat-Niece or Nephew!!!

ETA: Are you gonna name it after me?

thats great.. i bet they have kittens now.. i think its about that time

Near FH's house this woman feeds all these cats so there are seriously 10 adult cats and they just all had babies, we dorve pass the other day and we seriously counted 10 kittens.. and im sure more were hiding

its really sad.. she doesnt get them spayed/neutered and they just keep reproducing and she keeps feeding them..

---

there is a old lady around the block from my house who does the same thing. she keeps 4 containers of milk on her car for the cats. the cats lay all over her property. The town will do nothing about it.

eta: congrats.!!!kittens are adorable.
