I am halfway married!!!

Went this morning to get my marriage license! It was so easy!

We went into every single wrong entrance possible but then we found the right one . . . and then we waited outside because it said to but we should have went in, LOL. Even after all of that it only took 45 minutes!! We got there at 8:30 and we were back in the car at 9:15! It was so cool to fill out that I was taking FH's name - that was my FAVORITE part.

One step closer!!

Only thing is that we are the only couple who had to pay $150 for their marriage license . . . we got a parking ticket! oh well.

we NEVER pay attention, we just got another one when we went to get our mattress!

so which entrance is the right one so i know when i go???

ok if you are facing the front door you go to the RIGHT, go AROUND the building to the back ( on the side there is one door that is NOT it ) you have to go down these steps and then there it is
there is a sign outside that says 'WAIT HERE' and marriage licenses etc. maybe they use it later in the day when it gets busy but i know we waited there and we were supposed to go in!

etf: bc i dont know my left from my right, OOPS!!

I'll say it again, if it hadn't been for your post in the Jan Brides thread, I probably would have shown up to my wedding without a license!!!

It just never made it on my list of things to do... opps!!
