I am having an issue...

I am having an issue...

I tried on a bunch of dresses over the weekend, and I realized I have this condition called 'back fat'. Yes, it has been very hard for me to admit it, and I have ignored it for awhile. However, under the bright lights in the dressing room in the bridal salon, my mom even spotted my 'back fat.'

Does anyone have a good exercise that would get rid of that condition?? Keep in mind I do not own a gym membership but I do own a set of dumbbells. I am a complete idiot when it comes to working out. I also decided that I officially start my diet come January so hopefully that will help ease my 'back fat'

Thanks for reading

If you lay on the floor on your stomach and lift your head and shoulders up off the floor that works it....it is so hard to do and it kills but it works. Oh...and put your hands behind your head as you would for a normal sit up.

I have the same problem Isn't that just due to excess fat, though? I would suggest doing cardio regularly and watching your diet ofcourse...I just started...

Re: I am having an issue...

Yea im going to start dieting come January but I know that will reduce the look of it. I bought a yoga video and pilates which ive done a few times but I just cant for some reason disipline myself right now. I guess when it gets closer to the wedding, I will be doing it like 3x a day!

You really can't spot reduce... you'd have to overall increase your working out and decrease your eating.

she is right, excersize and portion control. yoga works too, or simply stretching. i found a lady on youtube who inspired me to lose 13 lbs in 6 months (a little stress helped too). just by watching her i wanted to do it, maybe she might work for you too. here are some of her videos
