I am having microdermabrasion done tomorrow!..UPDATE JUST GOT BACK!

I am a little nervous but I know it will be fine....I have always been self conscious about some old acne scarring on my forehead....and there is some on my chin too

Ooo, let me know how it goes!! I am interested, but petrified of it! Same things with facials. I have somewhat sensitive skin (in spots) and scared that I'll be left with a red face (like Samantha on Sex & the City) or marks. Whenever I get eyebrows waxed, they're red for 1-2 days!

I have been getting facials for like 4 years and its the best thing I could have ever done...my skin is soooo much better than it was. Not that I never get break outs but they are less often now and less severe.....the woman I go to is awesome!

ive done it.. some skin care place in RVC(complimentary from a bridal show).. it was strange... make sure you close your mouth - you will have crystals in your mouth and ears for a while after..it doesnt hurt at all.. feels funny..

AND - you will be red after too.. and a little break out the next few days - BUT - then it is softer than anything ive felt..

i enjoyed it, but didnt feel the need to get a package of anything b/c i thought it didnt do much for me...good luck.. let us know how it goes!

Update...Just got back...I can see results..acne scarring is definetely less It was really awesome!

I am happy it went well for you, I wish I had seen this post earlier, I use an at home system myself, the Susan Lucci one and it really works well. I had two done professionally here in the city (Le Petie Spa on East 34th st, pricey but well worth it) I bought some stuff from them to use at home, but it was too expensive to keep up the habit, so one night watching HSN, she was on and I said let me try it out, the results are very comprable to the more pricey spa/derm places. Just a thought for future upkeep of your professional work, I love it!!!

it was very red last night...kinda like I had a sunburn...but it is ok today

how was the microdermabrasion.. i am getting one in 2 weeks, i just for my first facial last week it was amazing,.. i am going to get one once a month until my wedding..
