OK, so when I went for my fitting yesterday, the underside on my dress (I guess it is the slip that comes with the dress) was scratching my leg and I can see that getting pretty annoying. It is a rough material that feels wierd against my skin. They said for me to try on a slip which definitely helped with the rubbing but gave me too much 'poof' on my dress so I did not like that. Can I just use a plain ol slip under my dress with no pouffiness to it? I am confused as to what to do. TIA

You can try an A-line slip. You definitely need something to keep the chaffing from your leg & you also want the dress to fall the right way too

I was gonna say the same thing. Good Luck. But I think the A-Line will work perfectly.

I bought two slips on ebay. I loved them both. I wanted one that was more puffy, and that's why I bought the second one.
Check out ebay. search wedding gown slips. and but the A-line slip, not the full one, just the plain A-line slip. It's not too puffy...and it's only like $30.
