I am so aggrivated! I feel like I am at a stand still. I have looked at 8 photographers and can't decide!

Did you try John from VIP Studios in Port Jefferson. He is really nice, always works with 2 photographers, proofs dont say proof on them, do not have to use their video and reasonably priced based on what you want

I beet you I saw about 15 photographers, and finally wound up with Mark Kauffman. His studios work is amazing and he made a custom package to include everything I needed. I did also like VIP and 12th night. So it is up to you about what you want. You have FM.

I saw Perceptions,buthtey booked mydate whileI wasdeciding, Duet wasbooked whenIcalled,ImagineI couldn'tuse beucaesI don't wnat video,a few others didn't call me back or were too far out east to go see,so then I saw Silverfox& loved their work & their ala carte pricing.

The owner,John, is great to work with.

I met with silverfox today. I thought they seemed really really good. Everything is digital so you gets LOTS of pictures and get the cd with all your pictures on it. You can hire 1 photographer with assistant or 1 photographer with assistant and photojournalist. I love this idea since you then get all the candids too. Since they are digital, there is no limit on the number of shots they shoot. I am definitely leaning towards them or Paul Marino.

Met with Patken, Viewpoint, Paul Marino and Silverfox today.

In my mind, viewpoints albums were not of the same quality as other places. Plus, since she uses film you are paying the same money for a lot less proofs. Patken seemed too 'packaged' for me. Even the photojournalist style was 'posed' to look candid. Not my style. They seemed 'wedding factory' to me.

Paul Marino photography was beautiful too. Unfortunately, I did not get to meet with him directly and they don't do video. It is a toss up between Paul marino and Silverfox. Silverfox is all ala carte which is great. You can hire the photographers and not worry about albums, etc. until you see the proofs. Plus you are getting the CDrom with all your photos high resolution just as they are shot so you could always develop reprints yourself or even make you own albums.

Just my thoughts.

We are using Silverfox and they are terrific! They also include an engagement shoot for no xtra cost. We had ours back in July and the pics were outstanding. They gave us an 8x10 and all of the pics on a cd so we printed out only the ones we wanted. The person shooting your engage. shoot is the photo. that you choose for your wedding day. If you don't like their work you can request someone else.

I used Perceptions just two weeks ago. But I don't have proofs back yet, so I can't comment.

I'm using Natasha Staszak. She's so easy to get along with and her stuff is beautiful. But since I'm not getting married until next month, I can't say for sure how she'll be.
