Seriously cant decide where we should go! FH is no help. He truly wants an all inclusive, but beyond that he does not care as long as the flight isnt terribly long.
Antigua? Aruba? St Lucia? Turks and Caicos?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, I just need to make a decision already and be done!

I am going to Playa Mujeres in Mexico. It took much debate and research of different placed, but turned out to be affordable.

Don't feel alone! We had been thinking anywhere from St.Lucia to Europe to Hawaii. We actually just started researching the Excellence resort in Cancun and it looks amazing! Has great reviews and a lot more bang for your buck than Sandalls. There are two more, one in Mexico and one in DR.

The Paradesius (sp?), using their royal service, in Punta Cana, DR is AMAZING! I went with some gf's and would LOVE to go back there on my honeymoon. The weather was AMAZING! I can not say enough about it.
Even if not that hotel Punta Cana is a great place with a lot of great all inclusives.
That's where we are going! So excited that we have it all booked.
Can you tell me anything else about it?
There are 2 hotels for this resport. We stayed at the punta Cana, the other one, close by, is Palma Real (I believe). The property was beautiful! For Royal service we had a separate check in, they went over the restaurants that needed reservations and made them. We had the private butler bring us to our room. We literally mentioned that we wanted beer and he went and brought it up to us. There is a private breakfast area for those in royal service, it was good but I liked the one in the main part a bit better. The part of the beach and your pool is only for those in royal service so there are no kids around. The water was perfect. I spent so much time in the water but got the BESt tan. Drinks were good, food was good. It did rain at night, usually when we had dinner. There were umbrellas in the room. It is humid but comfortable. I brought a hair iron and used it just once. There is a tram, you can call the royal service desk and they will have it sent to you. The amin lobby area has a bar and nightly shows/dj's. We had a blast!!
If you have the option to go on an excursion - got on the Sonoa Island tour. SOOOOO worth it!
Sorry for the ramble but it was favorite vacation to date.

We dont know yet either! We looked into antigua but it doesnt seem so safe there, I really want to go somewhere that i can venture out and explore the towns without going only with the resort or hotel. Were not considering Aruba but are up for any other suggestions!
Why does it not seem to be safe?

Re: I am HoneyMoon Challenged.
we serioulsy change our mind every week...this week it's one week in aruba and one in turks and caicos....I've always wanted to go to turks and caicos so it's at the top of my list..
As for Antigua, my cousin went for her honeymoon and she didn't really like it, I don't really know why but she said she wasn't really impressed, i've never been though.

Re: I am HoneyMoon Challenged.
Update: Still HM challenged.
Today's ideas include : El Dorado Casitas in Mexico, although I thought I ruled out Mexico... these are STUNNING and the food is gourmet, not buffet nonsense.
Club Med Turkoise, but I am hesitant bc it might be too 'party' for me, for 9 nights.
Sandals: I want a freaking plunge pool. lol

OK El Dorado is amazing, I stayed at the El Dorado Seaside Suites in Riviera Maya and it was like a dream! I've heard that all of their resorts are amazing....personally I love Mexico, I've been 4 times and absolutely love it.

Re: I am HoneyMoon Challenged.
UGH! i thought this was going to be my fav part but so was not! we really wanted to go to the Maldives but the airfair was crazy. then we were going to go to Bali but our TA said it would be the end of rainy season, not worth it. So yesterday we FINALLY booked our air fair to ST. LUCIA!!! we are staying at 2 places TiKaye Village and Ladera, they both look great and got great reviews on tripadvisor- check them out if you want to go that direction!

Thank you! I am sooooo looking forward to it. What was the Sonoa Island Tour?
They take you by bus to a marina of some sort. And you either start the boat on a speed boat or on a catamaran (whatever you take therer you take the opposite back).
We went out in the catamaran, so the trip took a bit. There was dancing and some drinks. You could lay out and get some sun. It was SUPER fun. So we get to this island, it's an island where no one lives but it's used by day. They had a lunch prepared. You could buy little trinkets, and you got time to spend laying by the water. Then on the way back we took the speedboat. We stopped in a natural pool. It was yards off of shore but the water was only waist deep. We got to swim around, take pictures, and hold the enormous starfish! The only issue was climing back into the boat. I didn't have the strenght to get myself up the ladder, I kept slipping. I was pushing my friend up and the guys had to give me a hand in. It was so funny! But well worth it!

Re: I am HoneyMoon Challenged.
We're in the same boat also! Right now we're leaning toward Aruba b/c I have never heard anyone have a complaint about there, and they have alot of all inclusive resorts to choose from.
