i am horrified at bridal reflections

i went there a few weeks ago and raved about their service, so i went back with a picture of THE dress i wanted to see if i could get a better price. well, when they asked where i saw the other dress, the owner flipped out about how the store should not have carried an eve of milady dress because they were not a high end store and that she was going to call her rep and have them discontinue their service at the other store or bridal reflections wouldnt carry that brand. i feel like i got the other store in trouble. i feel so bad!

what's it to them if other stores carry a certain name and if it's the store I
am thinking about, they may not be a snotty little boutique but let me tell you
they carry some expensive BRAND NAME dresses. Honestly, I'm gonna do
what my sister did, just use them to dry on the dresses and then go order
them somewhere else. We did this because they didn't have the sample
there but they carried the line.

Personally I would have told the owner of the store where he could go, and left. I hate people who think they are high and mighty. Nothing pisses me off more than that.

thats what my mom said- i just hope that it didnt cause such a problem that i cant go to the other store tommorrow and order the dress.

That's why I really don't like BR and worst of all, they tend to jack up the
prices too!!!

I am sorry you had a bad experience there. Was this the owner of Carle Place? I have heard some bad things about them. Thank God I have been treated like Gold!! It's seems so hard to believe that someone would really act like this. Weird

FYI: There prices are not really that high. My dress is only $1200. I went to BR in Massapequa. Some salons only carry certain designers that they feel are of a better 'level'. It all depends on the salon. They can't carry all designers and some salons want to keep a certain clientele. That does not however give them the right to be snobby or rude. And it stinks because there is no one higher to complain to. It's the manager that is being rude

I had a similar experience there!!
When I showed them a picture of the Demetrios gown I wanted, the man got all snooty with me and said that they dont carry Demetrios because he was too 'mass produced' and not 'exclusive enough'...

HUH???????????????????????

Well, I asked him this: If you had a dress similar, and I pulled out $2,000 cash, would you take it??? I mean after all, the ten and twenty dollar bills that are going to pay for my gown are massed produced by the US mint!!!

I haven't personally visited Bridal Reflections, so this is based on what I heard from others, but they thought the people there were ultra snobby. I believe it was at the Carle Place location. They don't even want to talk to you on the phone unless you want to spend a minimum of $2000.

I am very sorry to hear about your experience!! That was very rude of them!!

it was the massapequa salon. i was quoted $3125 at the original place i went to but they were going to add in a lot including the viel and tiara i wanted. BR was going to charge 2800 but not including the tiara and the viel or the slip. im definatly buying the dress at the original destination. they are so much nicer

I live right down the block from the Carle Place Bridal Reflections and it would have been very convenient for me to go there and get my dress but I knew about there reputation for being snotty and I wouldn't give them the satisfaction of spending my money there.
