Our RSVP date was this past Monday -- and only 4 days later we are only missing 4 RSVPs! Two from relatives and two from one of the partners and his wife (but they received an invite after most other people so I told him to ignore the RSVP date and just let me know by early next week). Although we had to really harass people to get to this stage.... There is also no way we can hit our minimum, it seems.

What was your min... Will your RH do something about not meeting your min??

I'm glad that you had a relatively painless RSVP process, but I'm sorry that you're not going to meet you min, that stinks!

Our min is 75. I have to talk to them about what we can do. They already gave me a lot though, $40 off pp, no charge for vendor meals, etc. so I am not sure what else we can do.

maybe they can extend your recpetion an hour , or just add some food . i would email your bm a list of ideas and see what he comes back with... do not say we didnt meet our min what can you do for us bc then they will low ball you .... write a list out of ideas and send it to them
dessert option upgrades , liquer passing, more time, snacks at the end of the night like hor dorves passing, upgrade linens etc

I hope the rest of my RSVP's come flooding in! You got very lucky with people getting back to you!
We are going to be in the same boat as you with our minimum, i think! We've also already upgraded everything and there's not really anything left to add. I may request an extra hour be added on to the reception!
