with maggies ophelia (spelling). i went and tried it on today. i think this is the dress. problem is, it was my third dress that i have ever tried on and i am a little worried it is too soon? anyone here go with one of the first dresses they tried on?

I did! I fell head over heels for the 2nd dress I tried on. I knew it was me! And now that I'm in the final weeks before my wedding, everytime I have a fitting I fall more and more in love with my dress! I definately do not regret my choice.

Don't be worried! I stumbled upon my Maggie (Eleganza). I was shopping for BM dresses (more playing), and I saw this gown and fell in love. When I tried it one, I LOVED it. I continud to go dress shopping w/ my mom, and always found myself thinking of the original one.
My advice is look around. This may in fact be the one, but there nothing wrong in looking more just to be sure. Plus, it's so much fun!

I fell for the first dress I tried on. I tried on a handful of others, but I just kept comparing them to that very first dress.

I only tried on 3 dresses and picked the 2nd one! I knew it was it and ordered it on the spot!

I personally tried on A LOT of dresses, I thought the same thing, I thought maybe im just thinking this is the one because it is the best so far, but there could be better, but there wasnt, you just know when it is the one for you. If you got that feeling, then why waste the time trying on more dreses?

Kris -- If you don't mind my asking, where did you find Maggie's Eleganza for the cheapest? I havent gone to try dresses on yet, but everytime I look in a magazine or online, this is the one I keep going back to....
I ordered a Maggie as well, Lee. It was the first dress I tryed on! I kept shopping around and I really wouldn't reccomend it.It was a waste of time ANDI got confused (well I really love the Maggie, BUT this other dress, is half the price.)

Exactly the same with me....fell in love with the first....tried on about 5 or 6 more..and just gave up. I knew the first one was it....it was also a Maggie (Desiree)

Mine is Eleganza also!
When I told one of my BMs I had found THE DRESS after only trying on about 10 gowns at 2 stores she wanted to know if I was 'sure.' I was like, 'YEAH, why are you trying to stress me out?' She explained by saying that this was the only time that I could try on bridal gowns so why not keep shopping. You know when you know, just like with your fiance.

I went dress shopping for the first time last week and tried on about 14 dresses. My Maggie (Karen) was the last one I tried on and it is the one I want. I just looked in the mirror and, to me, looked like a bride. I think there is not time limit on when you find 'the one' dress you are supposed to wear.

Thanks! i am glad to know i am not crazy! i keep thinking about this dress, but i cant order it until december when i get home. i am going to try on a few more b/c i found this dress without my mom (i do not live on LI let alone in the country right now) and i think she wants to see me try on a few more. she is fine with me getting this one, but i think she feels a little sad that she cant go shopping or that she didnt go shopping with me to begin with. so i will go with here wheni get back in december to give her that whole experience
i am 99% sure this is the one and i think when i do try on a few more i will just compare it to this one. plus i want her to see me in this one to get her opinion.
