I went to the restaurant where I am getting married on Sunday. They painted the walls a different color. Even though it looks much better, I am not sure what to do. The walls used to be yellow, green and some parts were gold. (Il post a picture of how it used to look/ don't have the new picture yet) I hated the green part of walls. To somehow work with the green, I chose lime and pink as my colors. Now the walls are yellow, brownish gold, and the parts that were gold still are. I am not sure what colors to choose now. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
I wouldn't choose your colors based on the color of the walls. Go with what you like. Besides, it might be a little strange if your colors are all matchy-matchy with the colors on the walls.

Re: I am in shock
My RH has red and gold chairs and when I went with my MOH there recently to show her, she was saying I should get red roses on the tables to match the chairs. I'm refusing. My colors are mint/pistachio green and lavender. I don't want any bold colors at all.
I say, just do what you want and don't worry about clashing with the walls.

Your colors DO NOT have to match your hall. Pick what you want. You can be in control of your wedding colors, you can't be in control of the hall's decor.

I agree with the above posters. You shouldn't match your colors with your RH, you should pick colors that you want and like for your wedding,

I don't even know what color the walls of my hall are lol. Kudos to you to being so detail oriented. I understand why you are taking the walls into consideration, but I wouldn't stress too much over it. Do you like the colors that you chose for your color scheme or were you just choosing them to compliment the walls? If it's the latter, maybe you can reconsider so that you'll love the colors too.

Also consider the lighting - if you are going for a dim, candlelight feel, you probably won't be able to even see the wall color.

my color theme didn't match my hall and no one said a thing. If it doesn't bother you it won't bother anyone else

Yes...some people do. What does this have to do with the OP?????
to the OP: I think you will be fine not matching the walls...I don't think anyone will notice.

Go with the colors you like it will be dark in the room so people won't even notice the walls!
