i am literally going to cry

i am literally going to cry

Once again, the hotel has messed up. They are telling us all sorts of things that we can only book X number of rooms...then they change their minds. They are telling people who call that the rooms aren't there. They are charging people different rates than what our contract states. We have a contract that says doubles are $65. They are saying if more than 2 people are staying in a double, it's an extra $10 per person. They are being rude and nasty to us online.

It's the cheapest in the area, and we booked it because we are paying for the BP's rooms ourselves. I don't know what to do...I'm worried we are going to get there and there are going to not have our reservations. I asked for a list of people who booked and they sent me a list, but said 'There may be others not on this list, but we don't know if they are here. They are not names to us, just reservations.'

I really want to cry...I am so stressed over this hotel.

ETA: It's the Days Inn in Branford, CT. The manager is one of the people that we've spoken to

Oh Jen- I cant believe how these people are stressing you. Is there another hotel you can go to? It maybe be worth paying a little more not to be stressed like this.

I think we might have to switch. With the number of rooms that we are booking though for our BP, it's going to be like, $500 more total.

i agree with Barb, threaten them! Thats unacceptable. Why the eff did they agree to do a hotel block for you if they are going to be annoyed over it!!???

honestly, the extra money might be worth knowing that you definitely have rooms booked. this hotel is not worth it. I would not want to give them any money.

Maybe you could keep your bridal party there and block rooms for your other guests at another hotel. If you don't mind, could you FM me the hotel? We are going to block rooms this weekend and I don't want to go there.

I say change the block. Have people cancel their reservations. What hotel is this? And is the good price really worth the aggrevation?

sorry to hear that! maybe you should look into other hotels? that's just too much stress even when your not checked-in yet. hate to be a downer but what if they may be worse once you do check-in?
