yay me!
Yesterday was the best day of my life. ALL of this, all of this planning for TWO YEARS was worth every single cent, tear and fight!!!
I woke up at 8AM but forced myself to stay in bed until 9AM bc I knew once i STARTED, it would go by so fast. Then I took this EXTRA long pampering shower. I sat and ate a bagel and had some tea and relaxed while a few other people were getting ready.
Jenn did my hair and Oksana did my makeup and I had so much fun with them, the time flew by. Jenn even dressed me bc she is a pro! She made it all so easy!
I finished literally as Vinny from Patken walked in the door. Then, he was SO fast he got all the shots done in less than an hour so I had an hour to go until church! I was the first bride EVER in the history of the world that was EARLY to her own wedding! They made me sit in the car for 15 minutes! LOL
At exactly 3PM the ceremony started and it was perfect! As I walked down the aisle I couldnt see FH but I just saw all of our friends and family it was so amazing! I had super cheese grin ( as you all saw LOL ) but I couldnt help it! Anthony and I had a fun, laid back ceremony thanks to Deacon Alex. Everything was so comfortable and so US! We both got choked up during the vows but no tears! We did so good and we were MARRIED!!! It was just an AMAZING feeling!!!!
Because of the awesome weather we even took some pictures outside of the church. We then went to Jericho Terrace.
I TOOK A PICTURE WITH NICOLE!!!! I cant wait to get my proofs!!! She was so HAPPY and BEAUTIFUL and she told me I had nothing to worry about ( and she was right! ).
The bridal attendants and the maitre d' were SO ATTENTIVE. They had our drinks ready for us at all times and then they even prepared my for eating with my giant tablecloth LOL
DH (AH!) and I took pictures outside alone and then pictures in the lobby area with our bridal party and family. The timing was PERFECT because then we got to eat before the family got there to take MORE pictures AND we were STILL done before the CH!!! We went to the CH, but dont go expecting to eat! We just went around to all the tables and mingled it was so much fun! When we went back to the suite they had all the food waiting for us there!
Then we were introduced into the reception - that was a lot of fun but MAN! that first song felt like FOREVER! The f/d m/s dances were so nice too! I didnt cry ONE BIT! I was just too happy to cry!
DH and I had the best time from beginning to end - every moment was fun . . .AND dont worry about going around to the tables - we did it in NO TIME. We did my side when they had the salad out ( who eats that anyway ) and we did his side after they served the entree and it was a nice touch and i felt like i got to see everyone.
I dont know HOW but i felt like I danced with everyone and saw everyone and chatted with every single person at my wedding! AND i still had time to just enjoy every moment with my new DH!
As for vendors - I will give a review after my honeymoon BUT here is a quickie:
Deacon Alex - A+ he gave me the type of mass i have always dreamed of!
JT - A+ they were amazing and SO attentive, people have been RAVING about the food and the service all morning long!! DH STEPPED ON MY TOE AND CRACKED MY TOENAIL DOWN THE MIDDLE! I was GUSHING BLOOD. the bridal attendant actually cleaned off my toe, put on a bandaid and then sat there and cleaned all the blood of my shoes! Then when DH stepped on my bustle she fixed that too! ( wow DH and I had a rough start to our marriage LOL ) Jose the maitre d' kept telling us what was coming up next but he also made us feel so relaxed and not like we were rushing around!
Patken - A+ I had Vinny for pictures and Andy for video. I also someone else who gave me an awesome montage but I cant remember his name! Vinny was SO laid back and awesome and I had a great time with him. DH hates taking pictures and VInny had us laughing the whole time ( too bad he is an Islander fan, oh well no one is perfect! ) Andy was a lot of fun too and they worked really well together!
Designs by Rose - A+ my flowers were exactly what I wanted and everything was perfect and delivered promptly! I got compliments on my CPs ALL NIGHT and they looked amazing and SO different!
Royalty A+ they called to tell me the 41 Buick wasnt available so I picked the Rolls - all the limos were EARLY and the drivers were so so so nice. We even had a ride to the hotel and a ride home the next day!
Jenn for hair A+ my hair was awesome, EVERYONE'S hair was awesome! AND she was so much fun to work with, so relaxing I wish I could use her to get ready for work in the morning!
AND she even dressed me!!! LOL It would have been a nightmare without her expertise
Oksana for makeup A+ I liked it even MORE than my trial and she was also a lot of fun to work with! She even put some makeup on my flower girl who was in her GLORY!!!!! and she set me up for the day with my lip gloss which i should have put on more but oh well i was having fun!
Garden City Hotel F!!! ok not really more like A - it is SO much money and we would have slept on teh floor of Jericho Terrace if they let us. We didnt drink any of our champagne or take advantage of the free breakfast bc we were too exhausted but it was still amazing and I love it there. The fake F was bc whoever had hte room next to me set the alarm for 6AM and then CHECKED OUT! so it woke me up after a whopping HOUR of sleep

SO hopefully if the snow doesnt stop us i will be on my way to st lucia tomorrow with my new husband!
I cant believe I am married I am so happy! Last night as we were falling asleep I was holding DH's hand and I was like OMG EWW do you have a scab on your finger and then i realized it was his ring! we were hysterical!
I loved every second of it and I think my guests really enjoyed themselves - i wouldnt have changed a single thing!!
Also, thanks for all of your kind words on the other thread - that really made my day
ETA! I almost forgot a freeken great vendor CLASSIE SOUNDS! - I had Keith and a DJ . . .O M G PERFECTION! Perfect mix of music, of talking and not talking, of planning - just EVERYTHING. We had SO MUCH FUN WITH HIM!!!!! They made my party PERFECT!
