I AM MARRIED!!!!!! *** Mini review***
I had the most wonderful wedding day .. everything I could have hoped for. And the weather was unreal. Sadly I don't have a single picture yet but I will be sure to post pictures as soon as I get back from St Lucia!!! Here is a mini review of the vendors while it's fresh in my mind.
Hollywood Hair Salon:(A) They were all so great and got my very large # of bridesmaids done very quickly and beautifully. And I LOVEDDDD my hair she did EXACTLY what I asked.
Make up by Jillian from Gorgeous Faces: (A+) We were late to the hotel where we got ready and she waited for almost an hour. She is soooo nice and so wonderful and what she does. I loved my make up and the make up she did for the girls.
Danfords on the Sound: (A) This is where we got ready and spent our first night as husband and wife. The room and the view was wonderful and they let us check in 4 hours early.
Burtons: (A-) I know I know I through in a minus to the place where everyone always loves. The only reason I was a little dissappointed was that they dropped the flowers off VERY early about 7 hours before the ceremony and by the time I looked at them my bouquet looked sickly. BUT the Centerpieces at the hall were AMAZING!!!! More than I asked for.
M&V Limo: (A-) The cars were everything I ordered and were very clean. However the parent limo was late picking up and we never did get our complimentary ride at the end of the evening. So we had to drive back to the honeymoon suite in a Lindy's Taxi.
EK Peters Video: (A) Erik was a gentleman and very unintrusive. After a few minutes of him being there I forgot he was there. Can't wait to see the finished product.
Daniel Krieger Photography: (A+) I dont even need to see the albums to tell you how wonderful these photographers are. They were creative , fun, nice, and sooooo helpful not only with pictures but with little things like bustling my dress, fixing my hair, getting me a drink. They did above and beyond what they needed to.
Parties Alive (B+/A+) They get a dual grade, because I was alittle dissapointed that the MC I booked Richie didnt show up and he sent Ben in his place. No one called to tell me this and the last thing a bride wants is suprises. HOWEVER Ben was AWESOME! He kept everyone dancing and having an amazing time. He was also extremely nice.
Last but not least------ LOMBARDI's on the SOUND: (A+++++++++++++++++) THIS place is AMAZING, AWESOME, TERRIFIC, ELEGANT, ELABORATE, they had such an amazing cocktail hour. AND SUCH an amazing Staff. My maitre'D was terrific and MIke and I had 2 personal waitresses who were AWESOME!!! We had such a breathtaking view and got beautiful pictures of us with the sunset and the water in the background.
A little advice: Unfortunately with about an hour and a half to go in the wedding I got sick. Apparently my dress was soooooooo tight that it was pushing against my stomach and it eventually made me extremely nauseas. If you are going with the corset heavy princess type dress, consider a reception dress even if just for the end. I really wished I had one.. .but i didnt let it get me down too much. I went to the bridal suite and found my husbands duffle bag pulled out a pair of LAX shorts and a Tshirt and put them on. Then i went back up and danced the last 2 songs of the night in style :)
The day goes so quick and it was so wonderful to take a walk with my new husband and soak it all in outside in the moonlight. I love him so oo much and feel like the luckiest girl in the world.
We are off to the airport in 6 hours to ST lucia... I WILL POST MANNNNY PICS WHEN WE GET BACK!!!!!
