I told FH last night that when I change my name it will be Jennifer Maiden Name HisLastname. Professionally and socially I will go by Jennifer HisLastName. Only legally will I have my maiden name as my middle name.
He flipped out! He wants me to completely drop my maiden name. What a wacko LOL. I told him OK well we'll see..... He said I was being a feminist! I got a good laugh out of that one!

I think, with a totally straight face, you should tell him that you always expected that HE would take your last name as well!!!

lol he is a sexist! I always tell him he is being cheauvinist (sp?) His dad is the same way. I joke with him about taking my name LOL he goes nuts it's fun to watch

If you're engaged to Fred than I'm engaged to Barney. I'm doing the same EXACT thing as you (no hyphen either). Originally I didn't want to change my name at all and he told me that there would be no wedding if I did that. He finally agreed to the two name thing because of my job. Yabba Dabba Doo
