I am mourning my fishies

3 died

PIPPY was one of the first ones we had. I thought she was preggo, now I'll never know

LIPSTICK was a tiny tiny baby, about the size of a nickel-her lips were red, looks like she had on red lipstick. She was so full of life! When it was feeding time she'd go nuts & was so happy to see us with food!


ORANGEHEAD-Had an orange head (silly names I know) but she was a gift from my dad, she was also a little goldfish but different looking (not sure of the type).

They are in heaven now but I just feel so down today. I miss them alot!

I had a goldfish from the firemans fair for 2 1/2 years...and it was tough to see him go...

I'm sorry about your fish. I have goldfish, too, and you really do get attached to them! Especially when they get a little bigger. Mine are about 5 1/2 to 6 inches long now with big flowing tails. But at any size, they seem to have real 'personality'--not like other fish. Mine come up and 'beg' almost like puppies when it's feeding time.

Sounds like maybe 'Orangehead' was an oranda? They have a funny 'cap' thing on their heads.

I would wait a few days to make sure this power thing is behind us before I got new fishies. Just to be sure.

hope they find some fish friends wherever they are. Go get some more to replace them. Make up nice names this time

im so sorry-losing any type of pet can be hard.

Sorry about your fishies Jenn. One of ours died too. My mom was so upset. She loves the fish.
