I am nervous and need some feedback..does anyone have any experiences with....

Has anyone been on the birth control pill Triphasil28? Any experiences with it at all? Side effects?? Thank you so much in advance!

I was on it a way back (I can't remember why gyn changed me to Ortho Tricyclen) but from what I recall, no problems and it had me running like clockwork (almost down to the hour).

I don't know about this pill, but I've been on 'Yasmin' for about 3 years now, which is about how long it's been around and I swear by it! Never had a problem or any side effects. Only an occasional pimple, but hardly ever!!
Are you already on Triphasil28??

I am on it right now, and have been for about 6 years. I have had no problems at all with taking them.

How about smoking on the pill?

I smoke about a pack a day and to be honest, I dont want to totally quit cold turkey...how dangerous is it?

did you get the pill yet? usually there is a little info booklet in the pack. It will tell you all about the dangers of smoking on the pill.

They say smoking while taking any birth control pill is dangerous. They say it increases your chances of heart problems. I did a search on Yahoo, and it gave warnings:

Triphasil Cautions:
Warning: Smoking cigarettes while using Triphasil increases your chance of having heart problems. Do not smoke while using this medication. The risk of heart problems increases with age (in women greater than 35 years of age) and with frequent smoking (15 cigarettes per day or greater).
