I am definitely a plan ahead type of girl. Does anyone have any input or suggestions for me???

My step sister had a gentleman's wedding meaning there were no bridemaids just groomsmen. She has a bunch of brothers so she had them and her DHs guy friends in the wedding party. It was very nice.
They didn't walk down the aisle though. She came in with her parents and that was it. The guys were already up by the alter.

We are having a Maid of Honor and a Best Man.

They will probably be introduced....
'Maid of Honor, Marie and Best Man, Ernie' and just walk to the table.

Then, my FH and I will be introduced as
'Mr & Mrs John Doe'

I am having a MOH, Best Man, that's it. I am hoping that when we are introduced, we can do Fh's parents, my parents, best man and maid of honor (maybe together, maybe separately, not sure), and then us. FH thinks that his parents will not want to be introduced ... the whole friggin family is so shy. Except his brother, the best man. He'll probably make the grandest entrance of all!

No bridesmaids, just a MOH.
No groomsmen either, just the BM.

My FH and I are not having a bridal party either....not even having an official best man or MOH. I find it cuts out a lot of issues with family and friends.

I’m doing a MOH, a BM and two other bridesmaids. No other groomsmen. One is going to be a groomsmaid and stand on FH’s side.

But in Sweden, where FH comes from, they rarely have bridesmaids. He was surprised when I said that I was having any. But then again, this is also the country where they’re trying to ban being walked down the aisle by your father, so who knows.

Many people do this, I was originally only going to have a MOh and BM, But we I added 2 Bm's. My FSIL had Fh as her Man of Honor and they had a Best Man that was it.

I wasn't going to have a Bridal party either, it makes things alot eaiser & the main focus should be the bride & groom anyway. But my FH wanted it so I gave in.

hi,

we're having just a MOH, best man, flower girl and ring bearer. i'm not sure yet how we'll be introduced but when we met with the dj, they suggested we do the sort of introduction where everybody is already in the room and they stand up to be introduced before the first dance....i guess we'll iron out those details as it gets closer!

it's nice to see we aren't the only ones without a huge bridal party...sometimes i feel like people look at us like we are aliens because of this!!! :)

I've heard of 2 weddings recently where they had a MOH and then like 12 or 14 groomsmen.

I went to a wedding this summer without any. It looked fine. If thats what you want, i say go for it!!

my 2 brothers were my 'bridesmen' and my bro's wife was my MOH...my friend had just her sister as her MOH for her wedding...do whatever makes you happy!
