After years and years of being OFF soaps (General Hospital) working from home as given me access to my 'drug' all over again. In the beginning I was able to fight off the urge even though I could feel the 3pm pull to the TV. I watched GH since I was in the 4th grade, thru college and even taped everyday for a while after but one day I decided to break free and stopped cold turkey. I still read Soap Digest once in a while and occasionally I would catch an eposide but all in all after a good 6 months I was able to say I was clean. But now......that is all changing.....I really do not even like many, many of the new characters but.......I am wrapped up in making sure Carly gets out of her cell. I don't even like the new Carly and yet I find myself caring. Oh, no. I am becoming a GH addict again....HELP......

SOAPNET has caused me to be addicted to 'All My Children', One Life to Live and General Hospital. I watched them from 8pm-11pm every night. I even discuss Carly's life with my friend...........Like I actually know her ( I am sick!)

One Life to Live addict here. I had stopped watching it (even on SoapNet) but when I get sick and was home all day I was hooked all over again!

I am obsessed with GH. It's sad. and now I have to watch OLTL also. Thank God for Soapnet. I used to be big GH fan, but stopped for a while and now with Soapnet...I can't stop watching!! I also buy the Soap Opers Digest!! I think I need a hobby!! It's funny...I alway's tell DH how ridiculous it is with him watching the Mets and then football and whatever other sports they show...and he says...you complain to me and what you watch is totally fake!!! At least I watch real people!! I said if you starting watching soaps, you would love it...his response: He would rather eat glass!!!

I still have my lilac 'General Hospital Fanatic' shirt in my memory box!! I wore it out...plus my GH coffee table box and the newspaper clippings from Luke and Laura's wedding!!! Oh, an my John Stamos autographed photo is in my memory scrapbook I don't think they will find Carly so quickly. I think something has to happen to the baby first. And Elizabeth will be put at risk at some point. I miss the REAL Lucky!!!! Oh, the torture of addiction.....

Soaps are the best, I tape them so I am over a month behind The benifit to that is when your in suspense you just pull out another tape, you dont have to wait a day or the weekend.

My best friend and I are GH addicts as well. I watch on Soapnet or tape and we talk about the characters like they are our firends. It's pretty sad but entertaining.
I think Elziabeth finds Carly but pasees out before she can help her.
