I am one of 'those people'!!!

My cousin is getting married in Philly in May but is planning on having a big NY party to celebrate sometime in the fall.

I just sent him an email asking if he picked a date for it yet, and asked him not to pick September 26th bc I already have two weddings that day. As soon as I sent it I was like OMG I am so totally one of those people who think other people's plans should revolve around them!

So ashamed of myself!!


He wrote back, 'Ok we will not have it Sept 26th as you are the guest of honor....HER MAJESTY, QUEEN KRISSY.'

These things happen, I'm sure they'll understand that you just really want to be there and it just came out wrong :)

Hey it is not your fault you are popular and get invited to multiple events LMAO!!!!!!!!!!

You just want to be sure you can be there for the fun nothing wrong with that! Now had you said, 'let me send you my schedule to see where you can pencil your party in' THEN you would be one of 'those people'

At least he had a good sense of humor about it!

And wow, TWO weddings? I hope one is afternoon and one is evening!

I have a friend who does this ALL THE TIME! She did it for my engagement party... she does it for vacations, etc... you name it there is a reason to not do it on a certain day because she has more important things to do that day. Not saying you have more important things to do that day... just talking abuot her.. so please don't be insulted.

It's actually rather cool of you to post about that.

Haha well that's the only reason I sent it to him in the first place, I knew he wouldn't get offended by it.

The first wedding is in the morning, which is good... except for the fact that IT'S IN CT!!

Then the other one is at 7 I think at Gargiulos' in Coney Island which I am SUPER excited about... I probably won't eat anything at the first wedding to save room for the second!
