mine is hanging from my curtain rod. I had to open it so that it wouldn't wrinkle...and although it's covered with plastic, I had to cover it with a sheet because my FH is still here! LOL

we hung mine on the back of my bedroom door
i wouldnt use a cieling fan...

I had a hook in the ceiling that I hung mine from. I'm sure the ceiling fan would work so long as you make sure to dust it off before you hang the dress, and make sure it can't be turned on by a light switch (this way nobody turns it on accidentally).

thanks girls...my mom has a plant hook by the window in a spare room. i am thinking of covering the windo with sheet and hanging the dress from the hook......
