So....this girl that has been here for a few weeks gets flowers from MY boss for her birthday!?!?
What do I make of that? My birthday goes by without anyone noticing around here as does most peoples birthdays do around here. Most of us dont want any hoopla. I am sure she was announcing it was her birthday but...I feel.....jealous...
Am I being EXTREMELY neutrotic & paranoid? How would you feel??

I would feel the same way...... Regardless anoounced or un announced I don't see how that is proper if you give to one and not the other JMO ....but I soooo understnad how you feel.

He is MY boss...shes not even in my dept!!! But she sits in the office next to me directly across from him...

No they didnt know each other...My relationship with my boss is excellent Id say. We get along and I like and respect him very much. He just doesnt know when my bday is. And I dont know when his is.

Yeah....Id just rather have no one know.....ya know I kinda keep to myself like we talked about in the post regarding work cliques. Eh, at least Im the one who gets a fat xmas bonus check from his personal account, not her!

I didn't really remember who said what in that thread.
But in all honesty, if I went out of my way to not let people know when my birthday is, I would not expect anyone to do anything for it.
I would rather get the check then flowers that will be dead by monday anyways.
