I am hardly ever on here anymore since only the people with thousands of frivolous posts seem to be around....I always wanted to ask... WHY DO PEOPLE BUMP THEIR OWN POSTS??
Posts with questions I get but If anyone wanted to read their review they will search for it, why bump your own reviews???? Never got that either, Sorry for what may be construed as a mini-vent
Sometimes people bump their posts in response to FMs. There are many reasons why someone would bump their own posts.
People take a lot of time to write their reviews and there may be times when they want to make it easier to find.
As for the frivolous posts, well, there are no more weddings in 06, so this board is going to have some fun stuff, now that the 06ers have time. But still, the talk turns to weddings as people plan their albums and help each other. Many of us also post on other boards and help out future brides.

to answer the question as to why you would bump your own review, sometimes you post on a thread maybe about your hall or your florist and someone asks what you think or to see pics, sometimes it is simply easier to bump your review for them to look at. that and if you update it...speaking of which, i should update mine, i got my album and it's gorgeous!

Now that you mention it, I'll admit to my post wedding review depression. My review lasted no more than a week on page 1, after it took what felt like ions to write. I got more comments about the review through FM and in person (ie 06 GTG, eh em Leese )than I did on the actual thread itself. What gives, people?
PS - the above should be take at 50% face value and 50% entertainment.
PPS - I'll bump yours if you bump mine.

Mine is never bumped either - but hey - I bump it up to the top of my memory every now and then - thats all that matters!
