Does the BM dress go with my gown? Does it need to? I love the dress and it looks fantastic on all of my girls who are all different sizes. But somehow I think maybe its not too formal enough, or am I just going crazy. What do you thinK? Only three have made a deposit and three still need to order, so the entire order has not gone through yet! I just keep seeing other dress that I think I like too! Help!
My mother told me that the BM dress style should be similar to mine, but if that was the case, all my BMs would be in ballgowns with beading!!!
I think you should go with your first instinct. I changed my mind so many times with the BM dresses, that I drove my girls nuts. 3 of them finally put down deposits, so that's it, I'm not changing my mind anymore. And no, the dresses don't match my dress in any way other than being floor length, but I'm more concerned about their happiness and comfort than anything else!!

Jann, Thank you so much! I did love the dress when I first saw it and even more so when it fit all of my girls wonderfully! It is very important to me that they are comfy! It looks formal right??? I think that is the dilemma I am having!

I hear you, but think about it.....do you really think any of your guests are going to be thinking 'Oh look at that BM dress, it's not formal!! What was she thinking?'
Nope, all attention will be on you, and as long as you and your BMs like the dresses, that is all that counts!!
And if you have any doubts, check the dresses on uglydress.com!! This will convince you that your BMs are getting off easy!!

If you and your girls like the dress, then it doesn't matter whether or not it 'matches' with your dress.
That said - I love that dress. Another bride posted it a few weeks back and my girls are going to try it on sometime in the next few weeks. It is not the same fabric, sleeve style etc of my dress, but I don't care. Matching is completely insignificant.

I agree. If the girls are happy with it then I would go for it. You are the center of attention and people wouldn't even notice if their dress matched yours EXACTLY.
My biggest concern is that my girls all find something they like. Sounds like you have already achieved that! Congratulations!
