I am sick

FIGURES. ONLY because I got the flu shot this year.....Everybody always tells me that they are amazed by the fact that I never get the flu - and here I am - the one year I took the precaution.

Oh well - it's not terrible. Sore throat, headache, stuffy nose. I am at work for a few hours and then heading to the mall to get new shoes for my pig feet and then going to bed!

So somebody tell me - what do I watch on daytime TV? I haven't done this in SO long!!!!

I just got better from being sick. Drink plenty of fluids and get lots of rest. Hope you feel better soon!

BTW, the only 'daytime TV' I get to watch is Blue's Clues, Bob the Builder and Dora the Explorer...so, I can't help you!

I hope you feel better soon. I have been home for the last 11 months and there is nothing on daytime TV worth watching...well..maybe Oprah..oh and if you are home early enough you can watch TLC at 1:30. There is this neat show called Perfect Proposal that I love watching!! . That's about the only time I turn the TV on during the day.

I hope you feel better soon!!! I have been miserable since last Tueday and can totally relate to the fact that I also almost never get sick, but not this year!

thanks ladies - i am about to finally get out of here...of course work caught up with me. i am trying to wait for the mail to come to see if we got any checks in today....but i can feel this cold getting worse and worse....looks like i'll be off tomorrow for sure.

and enjoy 'quiet time' at home, because 'daytime' wont be the same with a baby around

TLC for Surprise By Design...and all their other programming...

other than that it is Noggin channel at our home during any daytime hours...

Feel better! It probably isn't the flu- so you did the right thing by getting the vaccine. Enjoy the time off- and keep your feet up!

I cannot believe this! I got the Flu shot and made Scott get one just to avoid this problem. You do too- and you are sick.
I suggest rest, chicken soup, a nice book and a nice cup of tea....
