I am mentally home, in said wonderful environment.

I am physically at work, b/c I have to take off tomorrow to bring my MIL to the doctor.

I feel your pain. I have had a sinus headache since Sunday. And I can only take regular Tylenol. I plan to go to the Dr. on Saturday, since my a hole job doesn't pay me if I miss a day. I hope it's not a sinue infection. But if it is, at least I can take antibiotics.

You are a good daughter in law to give up your sick day to take care of MIL.

I am selfish and horrible and will likely end up in hell because I can totally see myself telling MIL that I am too sick to take her anywhere and to ask one of her jobless, lazy offspring to take her.

Then I would sit home and play MahJong.

PS - you should totally add Homemade chicken soup to your mental image.

I almost NEVER stay home from work when I am sick. really. I am always here. unless it's vacay. and I have BEAU COUP sick days. (but I am saving them for maternity leave if I ever need it)

I want soup from china town actually. not wonton soup. but real chinese/vietnamese noodle soup. haven't found a good one in our nabe yet.

I made FH bring me home 4 quarts of soup from chinese food yesterday and I have eaten two so far LOL

I tried to go in on Tuesday bc it was the day after the holiday but I only lasted two hours. Or should I say two hours PLUS people complaining about how I was going to get them sick

now, the medication that the doctor prescribed makes me so dizzy I can't go from sitting to standing without falling over so I decided to take an extra day

I still have about 25 sick days left after only working there two years though LOL
